Name Ideas For My Music Magazine

Here I have come up with some ideas for the name of my music magazine. All of these names relate to music in some sort of way, some also relate to the genre of my music magazine too. Due to the genre of the music for my magazine being Pop, it means that it's mainly chart music and music thats 'Fresh' and very 'Now'. By having a name with no more than 2 words it makes it stand out to the audience, appealing to them more, persuading them to purchase it.

Cast

Props and Locations

I will use many different props for the front cover of my magazine. For example, I like the idea of white clothing, particularily a dress, that is not clingy to the body, but material that will move when  fan is blown towards it. I want my model to wear high white heels making them look taller therefore more dominant and easier to idolise. I would also like my model to wear heavy black make up which will make their eyes appear a lot more striking than usual. I have come up with these ideas because I would like the front cover of my magazine to look quite minimalistic and fashionable but still all about the music because artits images are very important.

To make the image of my model look professional I plan to take the photogragphs in a studio
rather than a location like the city centre or something. The reason I would like to take the images in a studio is so that I can ensure the lighting is perfect and I can use the fan and blow it on my model, which gives a rushed but sophisticated and unique look.

My Audience Media Profile

i)  A4 information that profiles you audience.

The genre of my magazine is Pop and R&B Music, the audience my magazine is mainly aimed at is:

  • Female people
  • Aged between 25-54
  • Particularly interested in Pop and R&B Music.

The reason this is the target audience of mine is because my magazine will provide it's readers with the latest updates from the charts. The genre's may vary a little bit as the magazine will be Pop and R&B Music based. The reason for having more than one genre is to widen the range of the target audience as it acquires to people who listen to either one of those genre's or both.
As well as this, the magazine's front cover will be quite formal, images won't be crowded together and the colour palette will not clash. This means that the magazine won't attract to children, it will attract to my target audience which is ages 25-54.
Furthermore, the magazine will contain information about artists lives. It will contain information about the latest music with the genres and there will maybe be information about artists styles and tips too. This is relevant for my audience as they might be interested in the lives of the artists who produce music that they like. It could potentially make them more interested in the music, overall making the magazine a success and giving the audience what they want.

ii) Post a video interview with a typical member of your audience.
