Media Language of a Double Page Spread

Double Page Spread Inspirations

A typical double page spread has between 1 and 3 images. I plan to use to first of all, a large one and a slightly smaller one on a different page. Each of these double page spreads that I have chosen for inspiration all include women, women who sing. They are very colourful pages and they stand out to you. I would like the main image to completely take up the first page and take up a small part of the second page. This makes the model appear more dominant and powerful and that is the type of image I plan for them to have. This is because I want to make them someone people can look up to.

Contents Page Inspirations

I plan to take inspiration from these contents pages. Due to my magazine being a pop magazine it means that the colours have to be bright, but I want to also make it look a little bit more sophisticated.

I have chosen this first contents page because I like how the model is positioned. I would like my model to be positioned in a way like this or maybe slightly different. 

These next 2 magazine contents pages holds lots of colour, which is what I need. They're great inspiration because of the type and images too. They all stand out and appear very bright and big to the audience. 

Feedback and Planning

Planning:

I am fairly happy with what I was graded for my planning and research because most of what I did was proficient. Ideally, I would prefer it all to be excellent and in order to do this I was have to improve in many ways. I will go back through my work for planning and research and for example, amend things such as my research into similar products and target audience. To do this, I will have to alter my LIIAR analysis' due to it having weak language. I will have to alter everything in order to have it all at excellent but I am willing to put extra work in to helping me to get a better grade and to achieve the A that I want.
