Photoshop Techniques

Here I have use the brush tool in Photoshop to make my models' teeth appear to be whiter than what they actually are. To make the teeth look realistically white I had to turn the opacity down and use a small brush. By doing that I was able to make my models' teeth look very white but not too white.

Also, here I have highlighted my model's brow bone making her eyebrows stand out more, making her make up look like it has been professionally done. Secondly, I made her eyebrows darker to match the colour of her hair. I did this again by using the brush tool and turning the opacity down and using the correct colour.

To make my models' earrings stand out more and look like pearls I again used to brush tool and turned the opacity tool down. I did this again but made the brush smaller and changed to colour to a goldish colour to make the earrings look expensive which portrays the image of the model and it makes her look like she has money and therefore means she must be successful, encouraging people to buy the magazine.

In the next two photos there are slight differences. The first image is the original image of my model and the second one is the edited version. As you can see, I have used the spot healing brush tool to get rid of the wrinkles next to her eyes and to the side of her mouth. Also, I used the brush tool to make it loom like she's wearing more eyeliner and mascara, this makes her eyes stand out more. Secondly, I used the brush tool again to put a white dot (reflection) in her eye, this makes her eyes 'twinkle' and engage more with the audience due to her looking straight into the camera.
